You can delete your account and its data yourself, from inside the app. This
page explains how, exactly what is removed, and what is kept.
How to delete your account
- Open Roznamcha, on the web or the Android app, and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete My Account.
If you have no organisation yet — or you are a manager rather than an
owner, and so have no Settings tab — the same option is on the
organisation screen, under your email address.
- For each organisation you own, choose whether to transfer it to
another admin or delete it permanently. You can download a copy of
any organisation from that screen first. "Transfer instead" opens that
organisation's transfer screen for you.
- Organisations you have already handed over are listed separately as
Already handed over: there is nothing to decide, and "Finish
handover" simply takes them off your list.
- If you have offered an organisation to a manager and they have not
answered yet, the screen says so. You can cancel the offer, or delete the
organisation — in which case the manager loses the organisation they
were about to take over.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone from the app. There is no
recovery period and no way to sign back in afterwards. Download anything you
want to keep before you confirm.
This includes organisations you deleted recently. A deleted organisation is
normally recoverable for 30 days — but deleting your account ends that
window at once and erases those organisations and their backups immediately.
If you want to keep one, restore it first and transfer it to someone else.
To be precise about what "deleted" means: your records are removed from the
service immediately, and neither you nor we can reach them through the app
again. Copies survive for a short time in the infrastructure backups that
protect the service against disasters — up to 8 weeks — after which
they are overwritten automatically. Those copies are not accessible in the app
and are never used for anything except recovering the service.
What is deleted
- Your login, so the account no longer exists
- Your list of organisations, and your manager access to any of them
- Your personal backups
- Your daily reminder settings and every phone registered for your reminders, if you turned reminders on
- Any organisation you own and choose to delete, including its staff records,
teams, attendance, advances, salary payments and its backups
- Any organisation you own that is inside its 30-day recovery window, with
its backups — immediately, not at the end of the window
What is kept, and why
| Kept | Reason |
| Organisations you transfer to another admin |
They belong to the business and continue under the new admin. Your manual
backups of them move to the organisation when the transfer completes, so
the new owner keeps them and they are not deleted with your account. |
| Attendance and salary records a business keeps about you as its
employee |
Those are the employer's employment records, not part of your account.
Staff do not sign in, so they are not affected by deleting an account. Ask
your employer if you want the records themselves changed or removed. |
| Organisations where you were only a manager |
They belong to the owner. Your manager access is removed; nothing else
changes for them. |
